the last Curvy Fashionista out so far (there are more planned, just not yet released), is called Dolled Up Denim. she was given the number 32.
text inside the cut.
you can see on the far right of the back of the packaging that there is another Curvy gal that will be released singly, and not show is a couple that will be released later with extra fashions. I'm excited.
this Barbie has a wonderful two piece fashion. the under layer is a nice one piece dress in a fabric that resembles denim. it has yellow elastic straps to help it stay up, and nice yellow topstitching for details. over this, Barbie has a nice lacey white top. well, the front part is lace, the back part is white mesh and closes with velcro. I can see a lot of mix/match opportunities for these pieces, so I hope there will be fashion packs out soon to play around with.
to accessorize Barbie has a bright red multi-strand necklace. it really pops against her fashion (and makes it patriotic) and it matches her lipstick nicely. I really love the face paint on this gal, she's just lovely. and her hair is very soft and has many different shades of brown and dark blonde hightlights.
her shoes are bright red wedge sandals. they have lots of molded in details, but all I can really make out well is the laces. perhaps a nice paint-wash will help.
The Bottom Line:
The Good: new body type! fashion has good mix/match possibilities, beautiful facepaint
The Bad: new body type might not fit older cloths, little articulation
The Verdict: Dolled Up Denim is simply beautiful. of the Curvy gals released so far, she has become my favorite.
