New Scaremester Catty Noir, a Monster High review

New Scaremester Catty Noir is the second release of the character, but the first in normal clothes. I'm not much for fancy gowns, so I decided to go with this version, since neither version included a pet.

The Bottom Line:

The Good: new(ish) character in normal clothes

The Bad: tiny parts

The Verdict: I really thought that Catty Noir was going to be a one time deal, so I was excited that she got a school release. this version is worth picking up.

Picture Day Operetta, a Monster High review

to be honest with you, I'm not really a fan of Operetta the character, but she often seems to come with the best fashions in any given line. Picture Day Operetta is no exception.

Barbie Style: Flats to Heels Summer, review

Barbie Style Summer is my favorite in the Flats-to-Heels line. I'm a sucker for beautiful, brown haired, articulated barbies, especially ones that come with clothes that have good mix/match possibilities.

deboxing Barbie Style: Flats to Heels Summer

deboxing new dolls in such a way that you can preserve the packaging is always an interesting experience. especially when the packaging comes apart like this:

Blondie Lockes, an Ever After High review

Blondie Lockes is part of the second wave of Ever After High dolls. she is the daughter of Goldie Lockes, in case that wasn't obvious from her name.

The Bottom Line:

The Good: cute character and accessories

The Bad: tiny parts!

The Verdict: this is the first issue, and basic version of, Blondie Lockes, so if you're collecting Ever After High, she's probably the one you'll want to pick up.
