Dead Tired Robecca, review

Dead Tired Robecca is one of the dolls in the 3rd wave of my favorite line. the Dead Tired line is creepover (read: sleepover) themed, and features all the ghouls in their pajamas. unfortunately this wave has not been carried in regular stores. it is only available online and in smaller stores. I got mine at BigLots.

The Bottom Line:

The Good: pretty doll, cute jammies and accessories

The Bad: difficult to find in stores, small part (iCoffin)

The Verdict: Dead Tired Robecca has been somewhat difficult to find, but I think she's worth looking for. she's lovely and comes with a really awesome victrola accessory. if you enjoy deboxing and displaying, or playing with, your dolls, she would be a great addition to your collection.

Monster High Music Festival Abbey Bombinable, review

one of the many random budget lines that Mattel has put out this year is the Music Festival line. of course Abbey is my favorite.

The Bottom Line:

The Good: beautiful Abbey, mix and match possibilities with her fashion

The Bad: no brush/stand, small parts

The Verdict: if you're an Abbey fan like me, you'll probably love Music Festival Abbey like I do.

Howleen's clothes

I decided to get out and redress my Howleens now that I have a few more options for them.

I really liked Howleen in Clawdeen 2's sweater and belt, with Operetta's capris. but I decided it would look better with 13 Wishes Howleen's boots and hat. I'm really happy with how this looks, and she will probably spend a lot of time wearing it.

I also liked how she looked in Draculara 2's dress, but felt it clashed with her hair. fortunately it goes better with dance Howleen's hair. I also gave her 13 Wishes Howleen's tights and her original shoes.

dance Howleen's back

as I was redressing my Howleens I noticed that my dance class Howleen has some sort of serial number printed on her back in silver. just thought this was odd since neither of my other Howleens have this.

Dance Class Howleen, review

Dance Class Howleen is the first solo issue of the youngest Wolf sibling. she was previously only available in the Target exclusive 2 pack with Clawdeen.

The Bottom Line:

The Good: cute Howleen doll, detailed boombox purse

The Bad: no mix/match opportunities with her fashion, no brush or stand included

The Verdict: if you are a fan of Howleen, Dance Class Howleen would be a cute addition to your collection. if you would rather have a basic edition of Howleen by herself, check out 13 Wishes Howleen which includes a diary and her pet hedgehog Cushion.
