the final doll that is officially in the Dead Tired line is Ghoulia Yelps. the bottom right corner of her box features a cartoon of Ghoulia, in her jammies, stretching.
the back of the box has the same cartoon of all our favorite ghoul's hanging out in their jammies. there is an inset of Ghoulia's face. apparently she enjoys studying the "group dynamics" of the party.
removing the liner from the box we get a better look at Ghoulia and her jammies. she is bringing snacks and her "fuzzy" monster slippers to the party. she also comes with a brush and a stand, and a collector card.
Ghoulia's jammies consist of a cute cap-sleeve top and capri-length pants. they are both made of the same white material with red splatters. the top has a little red bow at the neckline and two black ribbons that kind of look like suspenders.
the bottoms have a built-in black miniskirt. this is sewn in not only at the waist, but also at the butt seam, so it would probably be difficult to remove. the waist and leg holes are trimmed with a black-red-white striped fabric.
her eyemask is made of the same white with red splatters material and is trimmed with black ribbon. she wears red cat-eye glasses, that have actual lenses in them (they are easier to see in the top photo with Ghoulia still in her box). I really like the softer makeup that this Ghoulia wears. usually she looks much too vampish for my tastes.
Ghoulia's monster slippers are bright red with painted on black cat-eye glasses.
I am going to guess this is the last time Ghoulia is put in charge of snacks. she decided to bring "Brain Puffs" that come in a retro-style striped popcorn bag. the puffs are molded all in one piece of bright red plastic which can be removed from the bag in case you want to fill it with something else. as creepy as I think the puffs are, they are a really good companion to Draculaura's DVD set.
The Bottom Line:
The Good: sweet looking Ghoulia doll with not overly character specific clothes
The Bad: there's not really anything bad about it
The Verdict: Dead Tired Ghoulia Yelps is a must-have if you're looking for a toned down Ghoulia like I was. so far she is the only one that is not super glammed up. if you're not interested in that and are not a Ghoulia fan, you could give this one a pass.
